Reasoning Web 2008 – The fourth REWERSE Summer School

This REWERSE event will be held after the end of the IST project REWERSE.
The focus will be on the actual use of Semantic Web rule languages in
the Reasoning on the Web application fields such as Bioinformatics, Web
Services, Multimedia, and Natural Language Processing. It will point
out which Semantic Web ideas and techniques have actually been adopted
so far, which were not (and why), and which application needs are still
waiting to be tackled with semantic techniques. The Summer School
addresses graduate students in Computer Science, and researchers in
academia and industry interested in Semantic Web topics. Furthermore,
there are already concrete plans to hold “Reasoning Web 2009” in
Bozen-Bolzano in September 2009.
